Irene Golembiewski – Graphic Designer at MSC,
263-9067; iwgolemb@wisc.edu
General – I was born in Philadelphia.
I migrated south to North Carolina, Florida and then midwest to
Nebraska for educational and life experiences. Through the years
my jobs have included newspaper advertiser, dental illustrator,
waitress, media specialist and senior artist.
Education - MA (Adult and Continuing
Education) Univ. of Nebraska-Lincoln, 1978; Certification in Biomedical
Communications, Univ. of Nebraska Medical Center, 1978; BFA (printmaking
and photography), Univ. of Florida 1973.
Special Interests – I enjoy projects
requiring complex organization. I like the challenge of taking your
information and organizing it so it is visually appealing and communicates
well for its intended audience. Creating a cohesive package and
identity for you is my fun, including products that shine in print
and on the Web.
Personal – My favorite places
to be are by water. I love the sound and smell of the ocean, a Wisconsin
lake or a river. I prefer to be outdoors whenever possible. I have
a great family to keep me company with two college aged children
and a husband who share my desire to take in fresh air and feel
light breezes. When I am not wearing my Mom, wife, or graphic artist
hat, you will probably find me on a bicycle, canoeing, gardening
or reading. I hope to see you out there too!
