Slide Collection Conversion

Convert your slides! Spent years building a collection of 35mm slides? Now that on-screen presentations are standard, are you wondering how to deal with turning all those slides into digital files to use in PowerPoint from a computer?

We now offer an economy slide digitization service. We have developed a method to provide a lower-cost way to turn your slides into PowerPoint-ready files.

What you will get

From each slide, you will obtain a JPEG image file suitable for insertion into PowerPoint. Each file will be numbered sequentially as it is digitized. We will provide minimal image adjustments.

If you feel the need for any additional enhancements to the image, you have two options:

1) You can make improvements yourself using Adobe Photoshop or Microsoft PowerPoint. Photoshop is more powerful than PowerPoint, but PowerPoint does include a number of image adjustment tools in its Picture toolbar.

2) You can request that we make any adjustments deemed necessary to result in a higher quality image. We will charge for these enhancements based on time. You can request that all images be enhanced as needed, or return selected files for this service after you get the chance to sort through them.

Pricing and turnaround

The charge is $2.50 per slide. The turnaround time is a minimum of three working days for a quantity of 40 or less slides, and a minimum of one week for 41-100. As the number increases, we will require longer turnaround times dependent on quantity. Therefore, if you need particular slides converted for an upcoming talk, it would be a good idea to bring them in separately from the rest of your collection.
